Andrew Miles Duncan

Andrew Miles Duncan was born March 3, 2009 at 12:43 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 1/4 inches long. He has a full head of dark hair and expressive dark brown eyes. He is... well, tears are coming to my eyes. There's no way to describe what he is... he's our miracle.

The C-section went just fine, and my recovery hasn't been bad. We've had lots of help and support from our families and friends, which we really appreciate. I was telling Terry that I wish we could freeze time for just a little while, and keep Andrew this small a little longer. I know he'll grow and the time will fly, so I'm trying to savor every moment. =)

Andrew came home on Friday. He had his first hair washing yesterday, which he seemed to really enjoy (I think he likes the sound of running water like his mommy). He's very strong and already able to lift his head up pretty well, and I've seen come very close to rolling over already. His favorite thing to do is to curl up on Mommy or Daddy with his little knees tucked under his tummy and his head on on their chest. He also seems to like music-- both played and sung. He's just so precious.
