'Tis the Season

Well, the house is finally organized!! Yay! In truth, it was organized several weeks ago, I've just been slacking on posting. ;)

We have our Christmas decorations up, and that makes things seem extra homey. We put our tree up yesterday and finally got some new ornaments! It only took us three years of marriage. We had been using old ornaments from my family's collection, but this year the meagerness of them just got the best of us. We found an amazing deal at Michael's-- 9 packs for $2.99 each, and they're too pretty! We got some long taper candles, too. I'd love to do more, but we just don't have the money this year. Besides, I don't have the luxury of decorating the place by myself! Terry and his particular tastes get in the way! =) Not that I mind. We agree on most things... and I'm glad he's honest about what we don't agree on. I'd much rather that than a half-hearted "That's nice, dear..."

We finished the semester, and Winter Intersession starts tomorrow. Terry is taking Mexican-American History, and I'm taking Intro to Sociology. Hopefully it won' t be too bad-- at least I'm not sick this year! I already paid my dues by being sick right after Thanksgiving. It's NO FUN when you're pregnant. I'm so glad to be feeling better.

Ah, the pregnancy. Everything is progressing well-- I'll be 29 weeks next week. 11 weeks to go- WOW. My sister is hosting a shower next month, I'll keep you guys up-to-date on that. Andrew is SO ACTIVE. No more fluttery kicks-- these are full-fledged! He seems to think my bladder is his own personal waterbed, and la la loves to jump on it every chance he gets! He's also starting to kick me in my ribs.

Honestly, I can't say I mind. I'm already kind of bonding with this little life inside me, and he can kick away as long as it means he's healthy!

We're in Ransom right now- Terry is updating our computer. I'm REALLY HUNGRY. I plan to make tostadas for dinner, although I have to admit- Pizza Hut is sounding good!! But, I always feel gross after Pizza Hut. I have to admit it... although I normally conveniently forget at times like these!

I'm back to being a Nursing major, for good this time. No apologies about the indecisiveness or amount of time it's taken me to settle on a major, either. Sometimes the journey is necessary to get to the final destination, and it's not always a direct route. I'm glad for the journey and everywhere its taken me. I wouldn't change a thing!

That's everything in our world. I'll try to update again before mid-January. No promises, though!
