Insert Clever Title Here

So, I've been evil and totally bad about updating this blog. Probably because there's a lot going on right now and I can't talk about it... yet.

We finished Summer 1 classes. I made a B in A&P, Terry made an A in History of Western Civ. Now we're onto Summer 2- I'm in A&P 2, Terry is in Precal. I'm seriously running low on steam this semester. I'm wondering if a lab science is the best idea, two semesters in a row. I need to make a good grade, preferably better then just another B. But is that really practical considering how burned out I feel from A&P 1? All questions I'm asking myself.

Meanwhile Terry seems to be breezing through Precal. They had their first quiz today, and he said he was able to zip right through it without a problem. That's probably a good thing, but he was a little nervous about it because everyone else seemed to be taking so long. I just chalk it up to his being brilliant. =)

We had a good 4th. We went to his parents' in Duncanville and ate burgers, watched fireworks, entertained other extended family. It was fun. We spent the weekend recouping, and now here we are, noses to the grindstone yet again. Well, what's left of our noses, anyway. Mine personally feels like a nub.

Our 2nd wedding anniversary is on the 15th! We went to Ohio in May and that was kind of our "big celebration," but we'll probably dress up and go out to dinner, or something. Or heck, maybe we'll just splurge on pizza and have a movie night. As long as we're together, we're happy. =)

This weekend and next week will be crazy. We're both counselors for the youth's Disciple Now! weekend at church, which entails each of us crashing with a group of youth at a host family's house Friday night and then having a bunch of activities on Saturday. I have been asked to return as a substitute Sunday School teacher for the 5th and 6th grades until late August when the new teacher can take over (the old one is moving). So, I have that lesson to plan. Then, all next week is Vacation Bible School. I'm working in the "records" (aka registration) area, and Terry is working in security. Not to mention classes and everything else we have going on.

I hope we MAKE it to our anniversary!! ;)
