Baby Update

Well, we had one of our pre-natal appointments today. We had to wait AN HOUR in the waiting room and then they pulled us back, took my weight and blood pressure (I LOST two pounds- what?) , and then sat us in the doctor's personal office for 30 minutes after that until an exam room opened up. I was grateful they pulled us back when they did, because there was a screaming 2-year-old in the waiting room. I'm trying to extend lots of grace and mercy since I'm sure I'll be there someday, but man-- I have eardrums.

When I finally saw the doctor, I found out that he was on call today at the hospital, and he apparently delivered 4 babies this morning. He called it a "birth explosion"- 2 boys, 2 girls, three vaginal, one caesarean. I got all that information when I asked "How've you been?" LOL-- a day in the life, huh?

The baby's doing really well. We heard the hear trate again. This time we found it immediately and it was loud and very strong- 166 bpm. The doctor said everything looks great.

Yay! I can't wait to meet this little miracle!
