Terry and I are going to escape to Ohio for a week this month to help out some friends with home renovations. I am SO EXCITED! We get to spend time with Jenni and Eric, take a roadtrip, learn some new things about fixing up a house, stay at a hotel for a few nights (Econolodge or not, it's a novelty for me), and just get OUT of Texas and away from school for awhile. I am so glad we were able to work it out!
But, of course, that opens up a whole new "To-Do" list for me... laundry being the main thing. But also packing, cleaning the house (isn't it awful to come home to a dirty house?), and trying to stock pile some stuff to do on the way there.
Unfortunately that list does NOT include finding a temporary home for our late beta fish, Fiona, who passed away on Saturday. RIP, Fiona...
This will probably be the last update until we get back. Then we both start new jobs and summer classes begin.
It's about time life got exciting. =)
